Jonathan, Alexis & the girls
We're Jonathan and Alexis Brown, proud parents of 3 young daughters and less proud owners of 1 dumb cat.
Jonathan's dad founded Streak Free Window Cleaning in 2002, and Jonathan grew up around the trade. At first, window cleaning was simply work that needed to get done. But over time, he discovered something that changed everything: he loved the craft once he realized he could make it his own.
He began studying new techniques, researching better tools, and pushing himself to improve constantly. Years later, that same dedication still shows. On commercial jobs and hospital buildings, people often stop to watch him work because his skill and attention to detail are impossible to miss.
After we got married, Jonathan moved from Lawton to Sallisaw, where we planned to slowly build a future of our own while continuing to help with the family business part-time. Life had other plans.
Alexis stepped into the administrative side of the company, handling billing, scheduling, and customer communication, even though she often felt completely out of her depth. We spent years balancing long drives, growing responsibilities, and eventually a difficult pregnancy with our youngest daughter in 2023. As our family grew, so did the strain. Jonathan was driving hours away from home to work while missing precious time with a newborn, and the business slowly became something we were surviving rather than building.
Eventually, burned out and exhausted, Jonathan stepped away from window cleaning and took a job in Ada working for a family friend.
While working toward her business administration degree, Alexis realized something important: we didn't have to stay stuck in survival mode. We could start fresh. We could build something together — not out of obligation, but out of excitement, purpose, and pride.
For us, “Nova” represents a new beginning. A fresh start for our family, a renewed passion for the work, and a company built intentionally around craftsmanship, integrity, and serving people well.
Today, Nova Window Co combines Jonathan's years of hands-on expertise with the systems, organization, and customer care we're building together as a team. We're proud to be a family-owned Oklahoma business, and even more proud that this company reflects who we are now — not just where we came from.
